Stedman Crescent Habitat Pathway Tree Day Site Details

Stedman Crescent Habitat Pathway

We are creating a habitat pathway from Nail Can Hill to Bungambrawatha Creek via Stedman Crescent. This is the first stage of the project which will include planting to develop top, mid and understory habitat within the urban landscape. This project will contribute vastly to biodiversity and provide habitat to endangered Gang Gang Cockatoos which are often sighted in Murray Pines adjacent to this location. This is an exciting project spearheaded by local community members to promote urban renewal, foster social connection, abate the urban heat island effect and increase community resilience in a warming climate.
