City Of Gosnells 2024 National Tree Day

Hi everyone! Our chosen site for National Tree Day this year is Tom Bateman Wetland in Thornlie. This area is home to many different species of birds and is also a popular walking track for locals of the area. We are excited to restore this site and get some nice tree canopy going, as well as shrubs and sedge cover for all of the fauna that reside in this site. In the past this site has struggled with natural regeneration and has been quite barren for a number of years. Please be mindful that this location is a wetland with a present waterbody. Young children will require supervision around the waterbody.
