River Restoration Project in Woolomin Tree Day Site Details

River Restoration Project in Woolomin

Woolomin Public School, in conjunction with Tamworth Regional Landcare Association, will be removing seedling weed species along a section of the Peel River which was cleared last year. We will then be planting a range of native species to replace the predominantly privet habitat. This is a long term project and is linked to Woolomin Public School's Riverwatch Program.
