North side of Brixton Rise, Glen Iris. Opposite 20-22 Brixton Rise. Stonnington side of Gardiners Creek. Melway Map 59 Grid J8-K8 boundary. Adjacent to bridge over Gardiners Creek on the Gardiners Creek Trail. At the south entrance to Glenburn Bend Park. Easy access from the Glen Iris Railway Station. Easy access from the Glen Iris terminus of the No. 6 Tram in High Street.


Parking is available on the Boroondara (east) side of Gardiners Creek in Kerferd Road, Gardiner Parade and Brixton Rise. Walk across Gardiners Creek via the bridge on the Gardiners Creek Trail to get to the meeting point. Dress in layers (you will warm up as you start planting). Wear sturdy closed footwear. BYO gardening gloves or borrow a pair of our gloves on the day. Please do not bring tools, we supply all tools required. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Please ensure that you register upon arrival (this is for insurance purposes). Larger groups (i.e. groups >=10 people) are encouraged to book a separate planting day exclusive for your group.
