Celebrate National Tree Day with community spirit, fun activities, and a major seedling giveaway at Janis Street Reserve on 28 July!! We are aiming to plant over 2000 seedlings into the reserve. There is a playground, and will be a sausage sizzle, coffee van (please BYO keep cup for $1 off), chill out zone, accessible toilets and info stalls from local environmental organizations

DIRECTIONS

Note that parking is on the verge of the reserve, and there is a bus route. Please check into the check in marquee (where the big tree is on the map in the park end of reserve) prior to accessing the planting site & you will be directed from there by event staff.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

There will be some trowels and some limited pottiputkis available (though there will be a number of pre-augured holes, so it is preferred (but not essential) that volunteers bring the following: - gloves - trowel - water for drinking - bag for your free seedlings from the MoTT marquee community tree giveaway
