Friends Of Sturt River Landcare Group Inc.

Join the Friends of Sturt River Landcare Group volunteers as we clear out a section of weed at the reserve and replant with a selection of understorey and native grasses. We will be working to maintain the biodiversity corridor planted over the past 13 seasons and add even more species to boost biodiversity on the site.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

BYO small hand trowel and gloves BYO personal health items (eg asthma puffer, medications) BYO water bottle and snacks. The friends can supply PPE, weed bags, hand tools, insurance, plant/weed identification and supervision. We also supply a celebration morning tea at the end of the working bee. WHAT TO WEAR This is an outdoor event held in winter. You will be comfortable in closed, flat shoes, long pants, long-sleeved top, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. A spray jacket is a good addition in case of light showers.
