Albury City Council - Community Tree Day

Tree planting will be carried out just south of Apex Park with the aim of improving linkage between remnant vegetation and previous revegetation works, boost local biodiversity, and to provide improved habitat for key threatened species, including squirrel gliders. BBQ lunch provided from 12 pm.

DIRECTIONS

Event Location is Apex Park, Lake Hume Village with tree planting just to the south. Meeting site is Apex Park (The Pines) Public Toilets and can be found on google (https://maps.app.goo.gl/74u4CbxTn5dQqDW2A). Accessibility for disabled persons is limited (due to the nature of the bushland and uneven grounds) but please contact the event organiser so we can try and cater and include all on the day :)

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Please RSVP via the National Tree Day webpage. Wear enclosed shoes, warm clothes and bring your own gloves & tools if you have some (AlburyCity will supply tools for tree planting).
