Conservation Volunteers Australia Tree Day Site Details

Conservation Volunteers Australia

Join us for a plant-palooza at Windermere Bay for National Tree Day! We planted over 200 plants for National Tree Day at this site last year, and are coming back to plant even more! Our impact will be valuable, important and much needed, as we'll be bringing back saltmarsh species and help this threatened ecosystem re-establish itself and offer habitat and shelter to species that are dependent on it. This is a family-friendly event, and you can join us anytime as the event's in progress, for as long as you wish. A morning tea will be provided. Make a real difference to your local environment and be proud of your planting efforts for years to come! Please ensure you wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, a hat and fully enclosed, sturdy shoes. You’re welcome to join us anytime while the event’s in progress, and feel free to bring friends and family – registrations are appreciated for catering purposes but not essential. Bookings can be made through our website: https://volunteerportal.conservationvolunteers.com.au/s/make-booking?id=a0r5j00000b0rOOAAY If you have a question about this event, please reach out to Janine Young, Project Officer: jyoung@cva.org.au
