Blacktown City Council - National Tree Day at Chopin Park

This site is now at full capacity, please choose one of our other sites. Join us to make a positive difference to our local environment. We are aiming to plant 2500 indigenous plants at this reserve, providing additional tree canopy cover, and creating much needed habitat for local wildlife, especially the birds and bees. Before registering, Council request larger community groups of 20+ to contact us on RSVP details below.

DIRECTIONS

There is street parking on Chopin Street, out the front of Chopin Park. There is also street parking on Mozart Street and a laneway to access to the park, close to the corner of Monaro Street, Seven Hills.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Please wear weather appropriate clothing, sturdy closed-in shoes (no thongs or sandals), and a hat. Bring your own snacks/food, and gardening gloves if you have them. Tools, gloves, plants, and planting demonstrations will be provided on the day. This is a COVID-safe event. Please do not attend if you are unwell or showing any cold or flu symptoms. If you cannot attend after registering, contact us to cancel your registration and offer the spot to members on the waiting list.
