Australian Conservation Foundation - Inner Melbourne Community Group Tree Day Site Details

Australian Conservation Foundation - Inner Melbourne Community Group

For the 2024 tree planting day ACF inner Melbourne community group combined with Melbourne Girls College aim to spend the morning, weeding, mulching and planting to preserve and develop the local area promoting its natural biodiversity. We will be planting various native shrubs and trees to help restore and preserve the natural ecosystem, providing habitat and food sources for local wildlife - especially the ring tail possum. We hope that by continuing to plant trees and shrubs in this area that air quality in the urban area will be improved mitigating the effects of climate change in this inner city suburb.
