Community National Tree Day - Knox City Council
We have 3,000 indigenous trees, shrubs, and ground cover to plant at one of Knox's waterbird hot spots... Koolamara Waters Reserve, Ferntree Gully. The event is free to join and family friendly. Why get involved? - Support local biodiversity and help Knox City Council with our goal of increasing the tree canopy in Knox to 30% by 2050. - Transform this patch of lawn into a habitat corridor for local fauna and flora linking Koolamra Waters Reserve to nearby areas such as the Dandenong Ranges. - Enjoy a free BBQ
