Manningham Council - National Tree Day Community Planting Event
Manningham Council is inviting everyone to take part in our annual community event at Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster on Sunday 28 July from 9.00 am to 11.00 am. This year, Manningham’s National Tree Day event will be enhancing habitat corridors along Ruffey Creek upstream of the lake. This is to build on previous planting activities held at the reserve.

DIRECTIONS
Planting site is located along the Ruffey creekline between Church Road (north and south). Visibility of the site is directly downhill of Church Road south. parking is available at both Church Road entrances or Victoria Street, Doncaster
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
All tools, equipment and plants will be provided by Manningham City Council's Bushland Management Team. Council staff will be on hand to direct volunteers on how to plant and provide guidance and advise on where plants are to be planted to provide best habitat outcomes for the site. Bring gloves, personal water bottles and snacks. Please note the planting could be cancelled due to extreme weather. COVID-19: Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
