Port Macquarie-Hastings Council National Tree Day Planting
Council is working to repair a previously heavily weeded site which also was also impacted by the development of an informal bike track. The bulk of the weed load has been treated in preparation for this planting. The site has also been landscaped with the bike track and associated rubbish removed and soil and erosion control has been put in place. The site will be rehabilitated via this planting day and ongoing maintenance to restore its wildlife and biodiversity function.
