Whitehorse City Council - Gardiners Creek Planting
Please come and join Whitehorse City Council for National Tree Planting Day along Gardiners Creek Trail Reserve! We will be planting over 3,500 indigenous plants in the development of new conservation zones with the aim of increasing canopy cover and habitat connections through this important habitat corridor. We are also encouraging the community to get involved with our natural spaces and contribute to making a difference in the environment. If you enjoy participating in environmental volunteer activities we have many volunteer groups you could join! We will be starting at 10:00am with a BBQ around 12:00pm and some other entertainment too! Make sure you register, and if you have any questions please get in touch with us at enviro.volunteering@whitehorse.vic.gov.au
