City of Perth Council Tree Day Site Details

City of Perth Council

The City of Perth will be planting out a section of the Narrows Interchange in a similar location to last year's successful Banksia planting. We will take registrations from 9am, a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony at 9:30am and then planting until refreshments served at around 11:45am. This year's thematic planting will focus on endemic species found along the river's edge and further inland.

DIRECTIONS

We will be meeting at the Parks Compound on the corner of Mounts Bay Road and Spring Street and walking a short distance to the planting area as shown on the map.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Please bring sturdy shoes, hats and water bottles. We will have gardening gloves, trowels, sunscreen, water and refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own equipment.
