Manningham Council is inviting everyone to take part in a community event at Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster on Sunday 30 July from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. This year, Manningham’s National Tree Day event will be creating a habitat corridor along Ruffey Creek upstream of the lake toward the Victoria Street Playground and car park.

DIRECTIONS

Ruffey Lake Park. Planting site situated along Ruffey Creek between Ruffey Lake and the Victoria Street Entrance. Parking is available at the Victoria Street Playground.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

All tools, equipment and plant will be provided by Manningham City Council's Bushland Management Team. Council staff will be on hand to direct volunteers on how, and provide guidance and advise on where plants are to be planted to provide best habitat outcomes for the site. Bring personal water bottles and snacks. Please note the planting could be cancelled due to extreme weather. COVID-19: The safety of our community is our top priority during this time. We will be following the advice of the Department of Health regarding COVID restrictions. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
