Friends of the Bungala River Group - Community tree planting day

Friends of Bungala River Community Group have a long term plan to repair and revegetate a much loved community park that is centrally situated in the coastal town of Normanville on the southern Fleurieu Peninsula. The riparian zones of the Bungala river have been neglected by previous landowners and are in urgent need of care. The aim is to provide a natural space for the community and visitors to enjoy the Bungala river. This includes revegetation with local native biodiversity such as the Coastal Bitter Bush (Adriana quadripartite) which is a host plant for the rare Bitter Bush butterfly.
