Cumberland Council - National Tree Day Canal Road Park Tree Day Site Details

Cumberland Council - National Tree Day Canal Road Park

Canal Road Park is part of the Lower Prospect Canal, an area which contains remnants of the critically endangered Cumberland Plains Woodlands species. For our event we will be planting native trees, shrubs and ground cover plants consistent with the Cumberland Plains Woodland vegetation community. By planting trees, shrubs and ground cover we are helping to grow the habitat corridor at the site which will provide support for local biodiversity.
