Mt Gravatt Environmental Group
We are building on previous National Tree Day plantings creating small bird habitat and food for Koalas, birds, butterflies and bees. Koalas are already using some of the trees from earlier National Tree Day plantings. This year our community volunteers will plant over 1,000 trees, shrubs, vines and grasses to restore the mid-story habitat. The BCC Habitat Brisbane team will provide plants as well as helping site preparation with mulching and planting holes.
