Clyde Cameron Reserve Landcare Group Tree Day Site Details

Clyde Cameron Reserve Landcare Group

This is our annual public planting event. Working with the Wodonga Council and Catholic College Wodonga students and teachers we will plant about 450 trees, shrubs and grasses near four old Red Gums on the bank of House Creek near the middle of Clyde Cameron Reserve and along the spine of the Reserve. At about noon the Wodonga Council will provide a free Barbecue for all workers. This activity is part of our overall aim to restore native vegetation and fauna in this very pleasant floodplain on the banks of House Creek. For about an hour on most weeks during term time, we work with the Catholic College Wodonga weeding, spreading cardboard and mulch and planting. It is a pleasant, educative and environmentally productive activity,
