Guanaba Park -Tamborine Mountain Tree Planting

National Tree Day this year on Tamborine Mountain will be held at Guanaba Park. TM Landcare and community volunteers will continue the planting of local native trees and shrubs, following on from last year's event, which was well attended and over 300 species were planted. This is a family friendly site with playground and BBQ facilities. The aim of the project is to extend the forest out to replace some of the grassy areas, providing more habitat for local fauna, and to add to the diversity of local flora species.
