Aims of the project: Frankston City Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Overport Park. This location is important because it is a continuation of habitat from overport park and Frankston Nature Conservation Reserve.We are aiming to regenerate the area to provide habitat for our local fauna as well as beautify the local park

This is a chance to take part in a conservation project to learn about native flora and fauna as well as meet your local community.

Directions: Planting site is located at the southern end of the park near the football ovals.

Parking is limited on the site. Please walk, ride or carpool to the event where possible

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
Please wear appropriate clothing (hat, covered shoes, long-sleeved shirt and long pants recommended)

The following will be provided: Gloves, Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water, BBQ
