Sutherland Shire Council Bushcare

Burnum Burnum Sanctuary have been working in this part of Burnum Burnum Sanctuary caring for the Coastal Saltmarsh community on Woronora River. They have received grant funding from the NSW Environment Trust to remove weeds and encourage natural recruitment of Coastal Saltmarsh. Additional planting of Saltmarsh species will be undertaken to support the recruitment of Coastal Saltmarsh. Coastal Saltmarsh is an important habitat for fish and other marine animals.
