City of Yarra/Merri Creek Management Committee
This project is aimed at restoring the understory and improving biodiversity values in a bushland patch just south of the path that leads to the Merri Creek and Main City Trail. As the tube stock holes will be pre-drilled, there won't be a need for digging tools however we'll provide gloves and a BBQ (w/ Halal option). This is intended to be a very family friendly event with toilets nearby, a large playground, natural science workshop, and a native animal petting zoo. The planting area is largely flat and bordering the path makes it less challenging for those with a disability.
