City of Parramatta Council National Tree Day 2021 Event 2
Due to Covid restrictions, the City of Parramatta will host 7 smaller National Tree Day events in 2021 across June, July and August. For more information go to cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au The perfect chance for some corporate volunteering. Celebrate National Tree Day with us at a special corporate volunteer day event. Today we are aiming to plant 750 native trees, shrubs, grasses and covers at this reserve, in an effort to increase biodiversity, improve the water quality of the local creek and increase habitat for the local wildlife using this reserve as home.

Planting site located at reserve along Ulm Street (opposite Taylor Place) in Ermington
This is a planting event only. No lunch or additional stalls will be provided this year. The activity will run from 9.30am to 11am sharp. Please arrive by 9.20am for a 9.30 start. **IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ): This is a Covid-safe event and numbers will be strictly capped to registered participants only. Please bring a copy of your ticket (printed or e-ticket on phone) to this event, or you will not be permitted entry on the day. To register for our second National Tree Day event, go to https://parramattanationaltreeday21_2.eventbrite.com.au Please wear weather appropriate clothing, sturdy closed-in shoes (no thongs or sandals), and a hat. Please bring enough drinking water for the duration of the event, your own snacks/food, and gardening gloves if you have them. Tools, plants and planting demonstrations will be provided on the day. It is important to note that this event will only go ahead subject to NSW Health advice closer to the date of the event.
