City of Kalamunda

The City of Kalamunda and the Friends of Jorgensen Park are re-planting trees and understorey to support the local population of Black Cockatoos which use this reserve. This will be the third an last planting at Jorgensen Park, so volunteers will be able to see the success of previous years plantings.

DIRECTIONS

Take the main entry to Jorgensen Park, park in the temporary carpark and walk down past the playground towards the bottom of the fairway.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Please bring a hat, water bottle and wear clothes suitable to the weather conditions on the day. Attendees will be required to sign a Volunteer Register and plant in a manner consistant with the current government guidelines on social distancing. This is a family friendly event so people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend.
