City of Holdfast Bay Tree Day Site Details

City of Holdfast Bay

This event is part of a large project being undertaken by the City of Holdfast Bay to improve our dune biodiversity. This event is specifically aiming to rehabilitate some newly forming, artificial dunes in this area. This event will help us to get several hundred native dune plants in the ground, providing new native dune habitat, stabilising the sand and replacing a large number of weeds. Our partners in this event include Toyota, Trees For Life, the Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club and the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club.
