North Sydney Council
The Coal Loader Parklands sit within a biodiversity hotspot for North Sydney Council, forming part of the Waverton-to-Wollstonecraft wildlife corridor. The planting area for this year's National Tree Day community planting event seeks to create a habitat refuge for local wildlife and extends important bush regeneration work that is progressing along the steep foreshore slopes north of the site.
