Billabong Bushcare Group

The Billabong Bushcare Group is supported by the Brisbane City Councils Habitat Brisbane program, and is made up of local residents from the area and their families. We are very interested in attracting more locals and nature enthusiasts to our bushcare group to share in creating a healthy and beautiful green space along moggill creek for everyone and our local fauna to enjoy. We get our name from a naturally occurring Billabong on the site : ) Please join us in a morning planting trees ( and shrubs) in our site followed by a BBQ Lunch to celebrate all the hard work! ( We will have vegetarian options) We will supply the tools and the plants needed please bring your hat, enclosed shoes, comfortable clothes, your water bottle and your green thumbs! Access to the planting site from Moggill road, you can drive past the open boom gate which you can access when driving inbound along Moggill road directly after the bridge. The site is opposite Ross Evans Gardens Centre


We have some gloves and a few tools, but if you are a large group you may need to bring your own gloves and a small spade. Please bring your own Hat and drinking bottle. Everyone is very welcome to join us for a BBQ lunch afterwards to celebrate all the hard work! ( we will have vegetarian options)
