TYTO Wetlands Tree Day Site Details

TYTO Wetlands

This activity aims to re-establish a number of Melaleuca Leucadenra's around the front pond in our Wetland reserve. Establishing these Melaleuca's around this pond will assist in creating an environment where the natural function of this wetland is strengthened. As the trees will eventually give shade, which will in turn reduce water temperature, which reduces weed growth and the trees will draw on the nutrients that are deposited during rain events.
