National tree Day Planting Edgar's Wetland
Come along and join the City of Darebin's Bushland Management Team, and the Friends of Edwardes Lake to help bring biodiversity back to Darebin. Our aims and objectives for this project is to enhance the biodiversity at Edgar's wetland by planting a number of indigenous plants including, grasses, wild flowers, shrubs and ground covers, some of these include rare species. This years project aims to aid in infilling areas of past planting as well as creating a new revegetation area.

This years planting is at Edgar's Wetland Reservoir. This year we will be infilling past national tree day zones, as well as planting in new areas. Access the event via Barry street or Broadhurst Avenue Reservoir. Parking will be on street, or public transport stopping on Broadhurst Avenue.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring along their own gloves, appropriate footwear(it might be wet), and warm clothing.
