Garfield Community Garden

The Garfield Community Garden site was assessed by Western Port Catchment Landcare Network, as a good site for a Nature Habitat for Nectar feeding birds insects and hopefully the Brown Bandicoot. We will have approx 120 trees, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers & herbs to dig in. We are a young garden growing with the help of locals. the garden is a place of peace, learning sharing. From little things big things grow.

The Garfield community garden is located between the Bowling club and the skate park & Football field.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

if volunteers are able to bring their own gloves and digging tools this would be appreciated as we have limited gloves and tools available. Please bring a water bottle and snacks/a plate to share. Hot water will be available for tea & coffee. Volunteers & visitors please make your way to the pergola to sign in.
