Blacktown City Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Morreau Reseve (Rooty Hill Reserve), Rooty Hill. This location is important because the reserve contains critically endangered remnant Cumberland Plain Woodland vegetation. The planting event aims to increase habitat for wildlife and beautify the reserve.

Contact Council on 9839 6000 (Katrina Brown) if you have a group larger than . We will provide all of the plants, materials and supervision on the day. Participants must wear closed in shoes, and are advised to wear a hat, long pants and long sleeved shirts.
