City of Newcastle Tree Day Site Details

City of Newcastle

Hosted by the City of Newcastle this project will be the first stage of revegetating Bull and Tourle Street Reserve with native groundcovers, shrubs and tree species. This project aims to increase public amenity, add to the city of Newcastle's urban forest canopy cover, mitigate urban heat and create a pocket of habitat for native fauna in Mayfield, Newcastle. In recent years we have delivered a similar project in Stevenson Park, Mayfield. This year, with your help, we will deliver the first stage of this new community urban forest site in the Bull and Tourle Street Reserve.
