Friends of Lake Claremont Ltd.
Be part of one of the largest, ongoing restoration projects in Perth! The goal is to plant 2000 local native seedlings in the park: ground-cover, shrubs and trees like tuart, jarrah, marri and banksia will provide wildlife habitat and beauty. The plantings will also improve Lake Claremont's role as an ecological corridor between Bold Park and the Swan River. Lake Claremont, a Conservation Category Wetland and Bush Forever Site, is a wonderful place to birdwatch. There are over 100 species of birds, some migratory and some permanent residents.
