WPSQ Wildlife Corridor Tree Day Site Details

WPSQ Wildlife Corridor

In 2014 around 100 trees were planted on the same property and they are thriving and creating habitat. The 2019 site adjoins this and will extend the previous planting, creating a larger patch of habitat between Four Mile Ck on the eastern side and Teatree Ck on the western side. Many of the 2014 trees are koala-friendly Eucalyptus tereticornis (blue gum). Not only will we be creating even more koala habitat but also homes for numerous native birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians who live in this area.
