Bayside Council - Coolibah Reserve Tree Day Site Details

Bayside Council - Coolibah Reserve

Bayside Council Bushcare is hosting a National Tree Day event at Coolibah Reserve, Bardwell Valley. This site is very important as it contains Freshwater wetlands and the Endangered Ecological Community of Swamp Oak Floodplain Forest. It also forms an important biodiversity corridor along Bardwell Creek. As part of the ongoing Bayside Council Natural Areas Restoration Plan we are aiming to increase the biodiversity and ecological sustainability of the reserve and provide additional wildlife habitat in the park. This event is the perfect opportunity for locals to learn about the local natural environment and the Bayside Council Bushcare volunteer program.
