Aims of the project: This year we will be building on the work that the Friends of Lane Cove National Park have been doing in this area for over ten years, both with National Tree Day and with our regular volunteer group. Over the time we have planted in excess of 8,000 local indigenous plants in the area and greatly reduced the impact of invasive weeds. This year we expect to plant a minimum of 1,000 plants continuing our work in creating a habitat corridor along the Lane Cove River.

Directions: Opposite 110 River Avenue Chatswood West. River Avenue runs off Delhi Road opposite the main entrance to Lane Cove National Park, near to Fullers Bridge. The site is easily accessible, level and has plenty of parking.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
Please wear suitable clothing, long sleeves and long trousers and a hat. We supply all tools.

The following will be provided: Gloves, Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water, Snacks, Refreshments, BBQ
