Vintners Walk Butterfly Garden
The vision is for the 1.2 hectares of Vintners Walk Reserve to become revegetated with indigenous plants creating a habitat for local fauna including butterflies. Not only will this reduce some stress on local populations of fauna but it also provides an opportunity for local residents to appreciate and value the natural environment. At this community planting event we will be planting the last batch of 2500+ seedlings for the 2025 planting season. The events of the day will include planting, mulching and educational chats regarding how to attract native bee and butterflies to urban gardens.
