The District Council of Mount Barker

National Tree Day will contribute to the rehabilitation project around Springs Wetland, a part of Laratinga Wetland. The area has rich terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity as well as providing recreational space for residents and visitors. We will be planting around the wetland to improve habitat.

DIRECTIONS

Enter 100 Springs Road Mount Barker and head towards the community nursery, pavilion and Springs Wetland. The planting site is a short walk from the community nursery and our tree day base.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Parking and toilets are available a short distance from the planting site. A free BBQ will be provided. All equipment will be provided (bring gloves if you have them) and no experience is required.
