Mid Western Regional Council

Council and the community have worked diligently to rehabilitate Lawsons Creek; this is our 3rd Tree Day at this site and the transformation is incredible! The native tubestock create biodiversity and connectivity through wildlife corridors as well as build resilience through riverbank stability and restoring hydrological function. Please join us for a fun day of revegetation and fellowship!

DIRECTIONS

The planting site is located on the northern side of Glen Willow Sporting Complex. Volunteers may access the site via Pitts Lane (Ulan Road) or River Drive (Putta Bucca Road). Please turn onto Lawsons Creek Lane, go past the netball courts on your left and park in P4 between Lawsons Creek and the Junior Rugby League fields.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Gloves, tools, drinking water and a BBQ with Lions Club will be provided. Please see us at the table to sign on to the Volunteer Register and receive your lucky door prize ticket. We have 2 prizes this year, Oztrail camping chair and Yeti 15 cooler. Please wear enclosed shoes and pack a jumper as Glen Willow can be very cold and windy. The site will be prepped but feel free to bring your favourite planting tool. Thank you for your interest in our Tree Day planting, and I look forward to seeing you on July 27th.
