We’re celebrating National Tree Planting Day on Sunday, 3rd August, and we’d love for you to be part of it! 📍 Meeting Place: Corner of Dickinson and Legacy ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM This year, we’re infill planting in an area where we’ve successfully removed invasive species, thanks to a Landcare Grant. Now, it’s time to give back to the land by restoring native habitat and strengthening the local ecosystem. 🌱 Why it Matters: A multigenerational effort bringing together people who care about their environment Nothing better than planting trees – a hands-on way to make a lasting impact Boosting biodiversity, supporting local wildlife, and creating a healthier landscape for generations to come Bring along gloves, a hat, and a willingness to get your hands dirty! 🌱 Volunteer Instructions – National Tree Planting Day 🌱 Thanks for joining us for National Tree Planting Day on Sunday, 3rd August! To make sure the day runs smoothly and everyone stays comfortable, please take note of the following: ✅ What to Wear: 👖 Full-length pants – there will be prickles! 👕 Long-sleeved shirt – protect yourself from scratches and the sun 🧤 Gloves (if you have them) – we’ll have some spares too 🧢 Hat & sunscreen – stay sun-safe ✅ What to Bring: 💦 Water bottle – stay hydrated 🌿 Enthusiasm & good vibes only! ✅ What We Provide: 🍏 Refreshments – we’ll have some snacks and drinks to keep you going 🌱 All planting equipment – no need to bring tools Let’s get together, get our hands dirty, and make a difference!
