Trillion Trees Community Planting Day Tree Day Site Details

Trillion Trees Community Planting Day

Cleared for grazing in the 1930s and 40s, Guildford Meadows is heavily degraded, with significant coverage of invasive weeds and heavily reduced species diversity and canopy coverage. Our community planting day will continue to restore this damaged wetland ecosystem, revegetating a 6 hectare area with 6500 endemic riparian and woodland plants.
