North Sydney Council
This planting project seeks to improve habitat and expand bushland areas adjoining Tunks Park - North Sydney's most species diverse bushland remnant; home to towering gum trees, Powerful Owls and Long-nosed Bandicoots! We will plant a mix of locally-occurring native species, including ground covers, grasses, shrubs and canopy. In time, the relatively dense planting approach will develop in to a fantastic habitat haven for local wildlife, providing shelter and a natural food source adjoining the larger bushland remnant.
