Mt Gravatt Environment Group Tree Day Site Details

Mt Gravatt Environment Group

The aim of the 2025 NTD planting is to continue the Showgrounds Wildflower Forest, an ecosystem restoration project. The forest will provide native wildlife habitat and is essential in creating a wildlife corridor between Mount Gravatt and Bulimba Creek. The Showgrounds Wildflower Forest forms a perimeter walk, accessible to all. In addition to ecosystem restoration, the project aims to showcase the natural diversity and beauty of Australian nature to locals to foster a better connection between people and planet.
