Western Murray Land Improvement Group Tree Day Site Details

Western Murray Land Improvement Group

We encourage our wonderful community to join us for a community planting day at a nature reserve near Barham NSW. We aim to plant locally endemic trees, shrubs and grasses lost from the site due to past land uses and flooding. This event will increase the species diversity at the site, and provide much needed habitat for endangered and vulnerable species such as the Bush-Stone Curlew, Diamond Firetail, and microbat species. This event is family friendly, and we welcome any who are interested in lending a hand. Join us for a couple of hours, or the whole day and help us make a positive impact on the biodiversity of our region.
