Community Gardens Williamstown NTD
The aim of our National Tree Day event at Community Gardens Williamstown is to bring together volunteers to enhance biodiversity and support pollination in our local ecosystem. By planting 200 native understory plants sourced from Kersbrook Landcare Group Nursery, we aim to improve habitat diversity and provide essential resources for native pollinators, including bees. The event will include hands-on planting activities, educational sessions on the significance of biodiversity and native plants, and opportunities for community engagement, all with the goal of creating a resilient ecosystem and enhancing local wildlife habitats. Families are welcome to join in and contribute to this important community effort.
