Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group National Tree Day

Join us for a very special day in Sunshine Reserve. Uncle Lionel from Living Culture will open our event with a Smoking Ceremony (bush cleansing) followed by National Tree Day planting as we work together in the coastal shrublands. We will be at the Port Phillip Bay end of the Reserve and aim to restore and enhance this vital ecosystem. Our aim is to plant native 1000 grasses and shrubs to help block weeds, improve habitat for wildlife, and help the area thrive for future generations. We have ordered lots of plants so volunteers are encouraged to take some home. Together, we can strengthen beautiful Sunshine Reserve. All ages and skill levels are welcome, let’s make a difference!
