Virginia Bushcare Group National Tree Day Planting 2025

The main aims of the tree day plantings are to continue the revegetation of Downfall Creek from last year's National Tree Day site and to re-introduced endangered species of Myrtles; Gossia hilli, Rhodomyrtus psidioides, and Rhodamnia rubescens.

DIRECTIONS

We will be planting along the riparian zone of Downfall creek, Brickyard Road, Geebung. We will continue on from the National Tree Day plantings last year, extending the existing site upstream.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Volunteers should bring gloves, wear suitable protective clothing including closed in shoes, apply skin/sun protection and insect repellant, and have their personal water bottle with them. A safety induction will occur before any planting starts to ensure all volunteers know what is required of them while on site.
