Burdekin Shire Council
Pupils from a range of schools will be attending on Schools Tree Day, Friday 26 July 2024. The aim is to plant 1000 trees along Parkers Lagoon and surrounding area. On Sunday 28 July 2024, volunteers will continue to beautify this area by planting the remaining of these trees

DIRECTIONS
Plantings will take place behind the Landcare building, along Parkers Lagoon and surrounding area. Meet at the Landcare Building on the corner of International Drive and Cox Street.
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Bring a long sleeve shirt, wide brim hat and closed in shoes. Sunscreen will be provided. Well deserved refreshments and a sausage sizzle will also be provided to the volunteers at the end of planting.
